At Fee Central, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of compliance with the guidelines set forth by the National Association of Realtors (NAR). Our platform is designed to ensure transparency and fairness in real estate transactions while also respecting the boundaries established by industry regulations.
Fee Central operates in full compliance with NAR’s guidelines. We provide a platform for brokers and agents to view the compensation offered by a seller or seller’s broker on a specific property that is listed for sale. However, our platform does not allow users to search for properties based on whether, or what amount, of compensation is offered to a buyer’s broker. This ensures that our services align with NAR’s rules and promote a fair marketplace for all participants.
Fee Central is not a multiple listing service (MLS) or internet aggregator service. We do not collect or compile property listings from various sources. Instead, Fee Central focuses exclusively on providing transparency around broker compensation for individual listings, as reported by sellers or their brokers.
By not functioning as an MLS aggregator, we avoid the complexities and potential conflicts that arise from aggregating property data across multiple platforms. Our singular focus on compensation transparency helps brokers and agents make informed decisions without the influence of property listing aggregations.
1. General Disclaimer (Website and App Sign-Up)
Fee Central provides a platform for brokers to notify other brokers of any compensation they or their sellers are offering on individual listings. The information provided on Fee Central’s platform is provided by the listing broker, not Fee Central. Fee Central is not a brokerage and does not pay commissions. The offer of compensation to buyers’ broker(s), if any, listed herein is not guaranteed and is subject to change by listing brokers without notice. Compensation to broker(s) is negotiable and not set by state law. Buyers and buyers’ broker(s) are advised to secure a written and signed agreement with the seller and/or the seller’s broker that clearly states the amount of compensation to be paid to the buyer’s broker before making an offer to purchase any property.
2. Listing Compensation Disclaimer (When Adding Compensation to a Listing)
By providing compensation details, you agree and verify that you have a valid exclusive listing agreement for the property you are entering and that you have the legal authority to represent compensation in accordance with Fee Central’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
3. Non-Aggregator Disclaimer
Fee Central is not a multiple listing service (MLS) or internet aggregator service. Fee Central can be used to see what compensation, if any, is offered by a seller or seller’s broker on a specific property that is listed for sale. Fee Central cannot be used to search for properties based on whether, or what amount, of commission is offered to a buyer’s broker.
4. Legal Clarity Disclaimer
